Central Districts and Northern Knights have already played 26 matches against each other, out of which the Districts have won 11 and Knights have won 14. One match has ended without any result.
What will go in the favour of the Central Districts is that the game will be played in Napier which is their home and hence they will have better know how of the conditions.
In fact, the Districts are the defending Champions and won last year's final against Northern Knights by a huge margin of 67 runs.
One thing that both teams will have to cop is the absence of some of their key players due to the ongoing Test series between New Zealand and Australia. The Stags will be without Ross Taylor.
