BCCI Naman Awards 2025: BCCI gave the awards for the year 2023-24 in a special ceremony. Batting great Sachin Tendulkar was on Saturday honored with the 'Colonel CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement' award while current Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was honored with the Polly Umrigar Award for the best men's international cricketer of 2023-24.

Started in 2006-07, the BCCI Awards is an annual ceremony in which the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) honours the players for their outstanding performances over the years.

It also gives other honours like the Lifetime Achievement Award to those selected each year.

The Best International Cricketer of the Year (Men), also known as the Polly Umrigar Award after the legendary former Indian cricketer, and the Best International Cricketer (Women) - these two awards are the most prominent of all.

Indian cricket team's fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah has performed deadly on many occasions. Bumrah has shown amazing performance in every format. He has been honored with a big title by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Bumrah has been selected as the best international cricketer. He has been given the Polly Umrigar Award. BCCI's Naman Award program is going on.

Bumrah has been chosen as the best international cricketer for the year 2023-24. For this reason, he was awarded the Polly Umrigar title. Bumrah's career has been great so far. He has taken 205 wickets in Tests for Team India. At the same time, he has taken 149 wickets in ODIs. Bumrah has taken 89 wickets in T20 Internationals. He has performed brilliantly in major ICC tournaments for Team India.

Bumrah has received the Polly Umrigar title for the third time. He was awarded this title for the 2018-19 season. After this, he also received this title in 2021-22. Talking about the next season, Shubman Gill was given the Polly Umrigar Award. He won this title for the 2022-23 season.
