A Complaint of Conflict Of Interest Filed Against Virat Kohli
A complaint has been filed against Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli. The person who filed the complaint is Sanjeev Gupta, a lifelong member of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association.
There are often new controversies in cricket every day. Now a complaint has been filed against Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian cricket team. A new controversy has started with this complaint. Virat Kohli has been accused of Conflict of Interest. Kohli is accused of holding two posts at the same time. This is a violation of BCCI Rule 38 (4) approved by the Supreme Court.
The person who made these allegations on Virat Kohli is Sanjeev Gupta, a lifelong member of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association. Sanjeev Gupta alleges that Virat Kohli is the captain of the Indian team and co-director of a talent management company that looks after the management of many players of the team. Gupta has alleged that this is a violation of the BCCI constitution which prevents a person from holding multiple positions.
Sanjeev Gupta has claimed in the complaint that Virat Kohli is a director in ‘Cornerstone Venture Partners LLP’ and ‘Virat Kohli Sports LLP’. Apart from the Indian captain, the company manages the business interests of several other players including KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Umesh Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav. According to the rules, Virat Kohli will have to give up his position.
The investigation of this entire case is being conducted by BCCI conduct officer D.K. Jain. An official of the board called the entire case is an intrigue against Virat Kohli. The officer said that this is a case of blackmailing. An attempt is being made to blackmail Virat Kohli. The officer said that if you look at the whole pattern, then you will understand that it is just an intrigue and nothing else.
