BCCI Announced India A’s Squad for Tour of England
The India and England Test series is going to start from June 20. Before that, Team India A will be seen in action, for which the squad has been announced.

India 'A' squad Announced vs England: The men's selection committee has announced the India A team (India A Team Announced vs ENG Test Series) for the upcoming tour of England, where the team will play two first-class matches against England Lions at Canterbury and Northampton. The tour will conclude with a match against Team India (Senior Men). Right-handed batsman Karun Nair has returned to the national team after joining the Abhimanyu Easwaran-led India 'A' team for the England tour starting on May 30. India A is scheduled to play two matches against England Lions (May 30-June 2 at Canterbury and June 6-9 at Northampton) and an intra-squad match against the senior India Test team (June 13-16 at Beckenham).
Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan will not play the first match for India-A. Both these players are currently playing for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025 and their team has almost confirmed its place in the playoffs. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Ishan Kishan will also be seen playing against England Lions.
Spin bowler Tanush Kotian has also been included in the squad for this tour, who was brought into the team after the sudden retirement of Ravichandran Ashwin during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. This time Karun Nair, who was part of the Ranji Trophy winning team Vidarbha, has also been included in this team. Let us remind you that Karun Nair played his last Test match for India in 2017.
