Marsh One-Day Cup 2019, Queensland vs South Australia at Allan Border Field (12pm EDT) -- Usman Khawaja will be eager to put his poor start to the Sheffield Shield behind him when Queensland plays South Australia in the One-Day Cup on Wednesday.

Khawaja scored back-to-back white ball centuries for the Bulls on his return earlier this month, but failed to convert that form to the red ball, making just 27 runs in four Shield innings.

Eager to impress national selectors, Khawaja must continue to accumulate runs, with his latest assignment being the Redbacks at Allan Border Field.

Queensland have recalled quick Xavier Bartlett for the match, replacing the injured Mark Steketee (hamstring) in the 12-man squad.

Meanwhile, Khawaja's opposing captain, Travis Head, is also in need of runs to impress selectors after his own lean showing in the Shield.
