The White Ferns registered yet another win in the third T20I on Sunday, 1st of March, in Hamilton, beating Zimbabwe and winning the three-match T20I series 3-0. New Zealand women won the first two T20Is at Hamilton by 92 runs and 110 runs respectively, showcasing their dominant run in the entire series.

In the third T20I, Zimbabwe won the toss and chose to bat first. Zimbabwe could score 64/9 in 20 overs as New Zealand bowlers Jessica Kerr and Nensi Patel dominated the Zimbabwean batting line-up. Zimbabwe were 3/2 initially as Jessica got the wicket of Kelis Ndhlovu in the third over, while Modester Mupachikwa was run out immediately after Ndhlovu got out.

Leg break bowler Nensi Patel got the wicket of Beloved Biza in the fourth over. Zimbabwe were 10/6 during the seventh over. Audrey Mazvishaya and Adel Zimunu both registered a 42-run partnership for the eighth wicket, helping Zimbabwe play through the full quota of 20 overs and giving the team hope of a revival.

Jessica Kerr registered figures of 2/6 while Nensi Patel registered figures of 3/8. Amelia Kerr and Maddy Green claimed 1 wicket each. Medium pacer Rosemary Mair was the most economical bowler for the White Ferns, giving away just 3 runs in 3 overs.

In reply, New Zealand chased the target in 5.4 overs, winning the match by 10 wickets. Opener, Isabelle Gaze looked impressive yet again with the bat as the right-handed wicket-keeper batter scored an unbeaten 38 from 20 balls, while Izzy Sharp scored an unbeaten 18 in 14 balls. Isabelle Gaze registered scores of 66* and 85* respectively in the first two T20Is.

Both teams will face each other in the three-match ODIs at Dunedin from the 5th of March. The next two ODIs will be played on the 8th of March and the 11th of March.
