Hardik Pandya, T20 World Cup Team: Hardik Pandya hanging sword ... Threat to being out of T20 World Cup, know the matter

The current captain of Mumbai Indians Hardik Pandya has big news about selection in T20 World Cup 2024. Indian captain Rohit Sharma recently held a meeting with head coach Rahul Dravid and chief selector Ajit Agarkar in Mumbai during IPL 2024. According to the report, the main agenda of this meeting held at BCCI headquarters was to discuss the selection of the team for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

An important decision was taken to include Hardik Pandya in the team. The three decided that regular bowling during IPL 2024 would be important for Pandya's possibilities of making a place in the team. According to the report of the Indian Express, the meeting focused on the selection of fast bowling all -rounders for the T20 World Cup, which will be hosted by the USA and the Caribbean Islands in June.

India is short of pace all -rounders and that is why Team India selectors are keeping a close watch on Shivam Dubey, who have performed tremendously with the bat. However, his franchise Chennai Super Kings have not bowled much of him. Hardik Pandya, who is captaining Mumbai Indians this season, is struggling with his bowling form. In six matches, he has bowled 11 overs, taking 3 wickets, while 12 runs per over have been given runs at a dangerous economy rate.

The Indian team management hopes that Pandya will achieve his rhythm, as his seam bowling brings balance to the playing XI. Also, his explosive batting makes the batting lineup strong. Reports show that the Indian Selection Committee will hold a meeting to finalize the team for the T20 World Cup later this month. It is believed that players' performance in IPL will be important for their selection.
