It took some time but Indian captain Virat Kohli had his revenge from West Indies pacer Kesrick Williams in the first T20I at Hyderabad as he slammed an unbeaten knock of 94 runs to guide India to a 6-wicket win. During his stay on the crease, one particular incident that drew everyone's attention to the middle was Virat's celebration after hitting Williams for a six. The 'cheque book' didn't just enthral fans but also earned a dialogue from legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.

Kohli had to wait for his moment to get the revenge over Williams after the pacer had famously given a send-off to Delhi lad during the two teams' meeting in 2017 in Jamaica. His 'chequebook-ticking' celebration has often been witnessed in the Carribean Premier League, but this time it was Kohli who celebrated in style.

The Big B crafted a brilliant dialogue for Kohli and tweeted it on Friday night. Next morning, Kohli expressed his love for the tweet and expressed gratitude to the Bollywood actor.

Speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony, Kohli also revealed the reason behind his celebration as he took the fans back to the 2017 incident. The 31-year-old clarified that though a few words were exchanged between the two on the field, both were all smiles in the end which how it should be in a cricketing contest.

"It's not the CPL (about Williams's celebration), it happened to me in Jamaica when he got me out. So I thought I'll tick a few in the notebook as well, but all good. There were a few words, but smiles at the end. That's what you want to see. Good competitive cricket but in the end shake hands and give a hi-fi. That's what cricket is all about. Play it hard but have respect for opponents."

It wasn't the first time that the Big B praised Kohli or reacted to one of India's cricketing assignments. The actor has done so time and again, but the tweet he posted on Friday proved that even he couldn't help but tweet about the most talked-about incident on the field in Hyderabad.
