The board was very angry with Hafeez's actions. PCB CEO Wasim Khan also expressed displeasure over this behavior of Hafeez.
Hafeez, while clarifying on his behalf, had said that he had tried to contact the board after the report came negative but he was not getting any positive response from the board. That is why he had to share his corona report on social media. In this case, former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq also took a dig at the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Now the statement of former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has come on this whole matter. Shoaib has advised Hafiz that you cannot spoil the relationship with the board under any circumstances.
Shoaib Akhtar said on his YouTube channel, 'PCB did a little mismanagement, we suddenly started testing players, now players are coming positive. The area most affected by Corona virus is probably Lahore and Karachi after this. I can say that if you keep doing the test continuously, you will get more and more positive cases.’
Akhtar said, 'Now that the tests have been done, my advice to Hafeez is to get the test done again, but he should not have posted the results of the test on Twitter. They should have told this thing directly to the PCB. You cannot spoil the relationship with the board. England tour is very big for Pakistan.’
Shoaib said, 'If we want to win the Test series there, then we should send our strongest team there. On Saturday, the PCB had told that the second corona test of Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan and Wahab Riaz have come negative.’
Pakistan team has reached England without these 10 players on 28 June by flying via special chartered plane. In England, Pakistan team will spend 14 days in isolation. Till then England team will play Test series with West Indies. After that the series of Pakistan and England will start.
