Sabbir Rahman has taken 10 days off from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for his marriage ceremony.
While Bangladesh is gearing up for the upcoming tri-nation series, Sabbir Rahman is still passing his holidays as he has taken 10-day off for his marriage ceremony. His haldi night ceremony was done on Saturday where few celebrities, friends and family were present.
Bangladesh cricket were passing a very busy time. After playing the tri-nation series in Ireland, they went straight to England to play the World Cup and returned home after two months. Then just after 2 weeks, Bangladesh travelled to Sri Lanka to play three-match ODI series. Sabbir's team Liton Das took leave from that series as his marriage ceremony took place during that period.
Sabbir, who played in that series finally got time for his marriage ceremony as well. After all the functions, he will then join the team for the training camp. His holidays will finish on August 27 and he will join the team on 28th.
Bangladesh will play one-off Test against Afghanistan and then a T20I tri-series where they will compete with Afghanistan and Zimbabwe at home under their new coach Russell Domingo, who was appointed by BCB on Saturday.
