New National Cricket Academy for India: The Indian cricket team is currently playing a three-match ODI series on Sri Lanka tour. Meanwhile, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah has given a big good news to the players. Actually, the Indian Cricket Board was working on the creation of a new National Cricket Academy (NCA) for a long time.

According to the recent update, the new NCA is going to be ready soon, expressing happiness about which BCCI Secretary Jai Shah has shared pictures on social media.

"Very excited to announce that the
@BCCI’s new National Cricket Academy (NCA) is almost complete and will be opening shortly in Bengaluru. The new NCA will feature three world-class playing grounds, 45 practice pitches, indoor cricket pitches, Olympic-size swimming pool and state-of-the-art training, recovery and sports science facilities."

The new NCA boasts an impressive array of world-class infrastructure, designed to provide the best possible environment for cricketers to hone their skills. The facility will feature three international-standard playing grounds, complemented by 45 practice pitches. Additionally, it will house indoor cricket pitches, an Olympic-size swimming pool, and cutting-edge training, recovery, and sports science facilities.

Former Indian player VVS Laxman is currently the head of NCA and his tenure is going to end soon. VVS Laxman has already expressed his desire not to continue in the post due to personal and family reasons. BCCI is currently looking for a new NCA chief.
