Now the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that this season of county cricket will be started from 1st August. The county championship format will be decided by the 18 first division counties in early July and new programs will be announced thereafter.

The ECB said in a statement, "Commitment to play women's domestic cricket was also made in 2020, but plans for a new elite domestic structure can be avoided."

The ECB said, 'The preparation and planning of the male and female domestic sessions will depend on the advice of the government and medical professionals as the safety of players, staff and officials is the first priority. Players can resume training 'on or before July 1' and the session plan includes various red ball and white ball cricket options.

After the corona virus spread, any kind of cricket has not been played for a long time. The decision on the Indian Premier League (IPL) to be held every year in India is yet to be decided. Every year the IPL starts in the month of March-April, but this time due to the corona outbreak has not started yet. People are eagerly waiting for the IPL to start.
