While the Indian team is on the West Indies tour, cricketer MS Dhoni is undertaking his duties with Indian Army. The Indian cricketer is with 106 TA Batallion (Para) of the Indian Army in Kashmir currently, and photos of him during his activities with the military often go viral on social media. Earlier, video of Captain cool playing volleyball went viral on social media. In the video, Dhoni was seen playing the game and attempting a service. The Indian cricketer holds the honourary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in Territorial Army unit of the Parachute Regiment (106 Para TA battalion). MS joined the Army regiment training on July 31 and will undertake duties like patrolling, guard and post duty. He will be staying with the Army battalion till August 15.

For serving the Army, Dhoni had made himself unavailable for India's tour of West Indies 2019. The Indian team defeated West Indies in the third T20I on Tuesday, thereby whitewashing the Caribbean side in the three-match T20 series 3-0. Now, the three-match ODI series will start from August 8.
