Kate tries her hand at cricket on Royal Tour
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Lahore on Thursday, with Kate swapping out her heels for canvas trainers and tying back her signature bouncy blow dry into a ponytail as she stepped out on the pitch at the National Cricket Academy.

The Royal, 37, couldn't contain her laughter at the crease, giggling as she attempted to hit ball with bat.

A former hockey player in her high school days, the sporty Duchess still looked at ease on the field, and managed to score some runs with her batting partner and real life partner, Prince William.

The Duke of Cambridge had a little more luck with the bat though, scoring a six.

The couple then heard about the British Council run DOSTI (meaning friendship in Urdu) program, which promotes sport as an integral part of child development.

They met with local cricketing heroes and those in the program.

Kate dressed in a white traditional outfit for the occasion, while William opted for something a little more formal - a blue shirt, trousers and dress shoes, which he changed to trainers.

It's not the Duchess's first attempt at cricket - having previously faced a ball in New Zealand, during the 2014 Royal Tour and then again in India, in 2016.
