Eng vs WI: West Indies Have A Chance To Win The Series
The second Test match of the Test series being played between England and West Indies in England will start from today. Captain Joe Root will return to England team.
After the Corona virus spread, the first cricket series is being played between England and the West Indies. The first match of this Test series was won by the West Indies. The win in the first match of the series has boosted the morale of the West Indies team. The second Test match of this series is starting today i.e. Thursday. The England team will want to equalize the series whereas the West Indies will play with the intention of winning the series
England played the first Test in the absence of Captain Joe Root. Joe Root missed the first Test match due to the birth of his second child. In the absence of Joe Root, England all-rounder Ben Stokes took over the captaincy. In this first Test, the West Indies team beat England performing brilliantly. The second Test match of the series will start at 3:30 pm Indian time.
West Indies have this golden opportunity to win the series in England. The West Indies team has not won a Test series in England for 32 years. The West Indies team last won the Test series in 1988. Out of the remaining two Test matches of the series, West Indies have to win just one match to win the series. If the West Indies team manages to do so, it will be a historic win for them.
On the other hand, England will return like an injured lion. After the return of team captain Joe Root, the morale of the team has increased significantly. The England team is known for making a comeback in the series. Out of the last 10 series, England started with defeat 8 times. England team returns every time after losing the first match.
