Mackenzie Harvey looked fluent in his innings of 76, which was highest score of the match. However, no other SA player was able to make a significant contribution with the bat as WA dominated thanks to a disciplined bowling display. The visitors also produced a fine fielding effort including spectacular catches by Esterhuysen, Kelly and Agar. Esterhuysen had a debut to remember with three wickets while the ever present Paris starred with five wickets in a Player of the Match performance.
