A fantastic all-round performance from Chamari Athapaththu has led Sydney Thunder to an emphatic win over their Sydney rivals. Athapaththu got the Thunder off to a rapid start, before Phoebe Litchfield finished the innings magnificently, including two sixes off the final two balls. Ellyse Perry briefly looked dangerous in the chase, but once she fell the Sixers struggled to keep up any momentum as Athapaththu, Sammy-Jo Johnson and Heather Knight bowled brilliantly. It has been a great WBBL double header here today at North Sydney Oval.
